چکیده

In this paper, a new inequality for the weight coefficient w(q, n) in the form sin(r/p) 2mi/p + n_i/q q > I,+ I, 6 N P q is proved. This is followed by a strengthened version ofthe Hardy-I-lilben inequality.

A new lower bound for snake-in-the-box codes

In this paper we give a new lower bound on the length of Snake-in-the-Box Codes, i.e., induced cycles in the d-dimensional cube. The bound is a linear function of the number of vertices of the cube and improves the bound c · 2/d, where c is a constant, proved by Danzer and Klee. Codes, Lattices, and Steiner Systems

Two classification schemes for Steiner triple systems on 15 points have been proposed recently: one based on the binary code spanned by the blocks, the other on the root system attached to the lattice affinely generated by the blocks. It is shown here that the two approaches are equivalent. 1991 AMS Classification: Primary: 05B07; Secondary: 11H06, 94B25.

Twisted tensor product codes

We present two families of constacyclic linear codes with large automorphism groups. The codes are obtained from the twisted tensor product construction. AMS subject classification: 05E20, 05B25, 11T71, 94B25, 94B27, 51E22, 51E20, 20G40, 14L35

Parameterized codes over some embedded sets and their applications to complete graphs ∗ Manuel

Let K be a finite field, let X ⊂ Pm−1 and X ′ ⊂ Pr−1, with r < m, be two algebraic toric sets parameterized by some monomials in such a way that X ′ is embedded in X. We describe the relations among the main parameters of the corresponding parameterized linear codes of order d associated to X and X ′ by using some tools from commutative algebra and algebraic geometry. We also find the regularit...

Two Torsion Free Prime Gamma Rings With Jordan Left Derivations

Let M be a 2-torsion free prime Γ-ring and X a nonzero faithful and prime ΓM -module. Then the existence of a nonzero Jordan left derivation d : M → X satisfying some appropriate conditions implies M is commutative. M is also commutative in the case that d : M → M is a derivation along with some suitable assumptions. AMS (MOS) Subject Classification Codes: 03E72, 54A40, 54B15
